I have a 1996 Tacoma 3.4 base. While cleaning and installing a switch into the front panel next to the turn signal/instrument cluster I broke a few small things. Partial clumsy/partial 30 y/o dry aged plastic. I’m struggling to find replacement parts for these and nearby junkyards don’t have any 1st gen tacomas or similar aged 4Runners to pull from.

First part is the needle for the speedometer. Total length is 63 mm and needle length is 55mm. While doing a google search I was unable to find replacement needles and my only option is Amazon/ebay standard needles which are 49mm with total length of like 53mm. Which doesn’t sound like a lot but looks kinda silly when I marked it on the needle and tried it out. See pictures below. Mark/chip in paint is 53mm.

Second/third part is the plastic lens cover and case for the instrument panel. The clips completely broke off and I’m unable to replace. The glass is also cracked and won’t stay in.

Any ideas would be super super super helpful in finding the extra part numbers or similar replacements.

Thanks again for any and all help!

While not an elegant solution I have epoxied a toothpick to the remaining part of the needle and painted it.
