I have to get the expansion valve out, but there are two clips holding the hoses in place right in front of the firewall. It appears as if you need a specialty tool to get the clips off. Does anyone know where to get that? Or can I improvise something?

    Thanks

Careful not to break them, last I heard they are on intergalactic backorder from Toyota.

Yea I'm in South Texas but we haven't even begun to hit summer temps yet.
A/C season will be starting soon though.
