    That is good news considering they are intended to be used with a 1in extension block. The 5125 shocks are roughly an inch longer fully compressed but 1.44in longer at full extension . Wonder if these are the same.

    Do the mounting bushings go at the end of the threads or down at the bottom of the shaft on these?

    Just got my lift kit lift blocks from the local Toyota dealer. Part PT82A-35210 is indeed the 1in lift block but I am still shocked that I only paid $16.20 for a pair of them....

    Are you doing those with or without a lift block. With the 1" block I would recommend the 5125s or the TRD lift kick shocks. Rockauto has a good price ok the former, you can find a 5% discount code on the rockauto reddit. With the 20ish% discount most dealerships are offering for online orders the TRD lift kit shocks are about the same price as those as well.

    I'll keep it stock as I barely carry anything except the Leer camper and some tools, with my 2nd gen I had airbag and was very happy with, If i ever decide to lift it I'll do it again with airbag vs blocks and AAL (just my personal opinion). Honestly, I can get away with the stock rear shock for now just the other day while i was doing the tailgate mod i saw one of the shock a bit oily and now with this price decided to jump in.

    I bought a set of those 5125s to put in my truck, but there was no way they were going to allow the spring to hit the bump stop. The compressed length was too long.
    I have a 3-leaf add-a-leaf with the overload installed, so like 2.5 inches of lift just from the extra spring thickness.
    I got these;

    Maybe they were the wrong p/n.

    Not sure how these would work with 1 in blocks.

    5125s come in a bunch of different lengths. The ones I ordered are only an inch longer than stock and look to be about the same length as the TRD lift kit shocks.

    Was trying to order the parking brake spacers from the OEM TRD lift kit. Received two different parts. The part on the left is what is referenced in other posts and pictures. Anyone able to tell if the part on the right is the updated part? BAM has sent the part on the right twice.

    Weird. The original part moves the cable bracket out and down. The new one would only move it out. Originally I assumed down an inch would be all that was needed but when making up my own bracket it did seem like the out part was actually more important than the down. I just bent up a piece of sheet metal and drilled a couple of holes to mount the bracket in a roughly appropriate position. Seems to be working fine. If you have the lift installed try it out and see how much resistance you get putting it into position and how much tention is on it when you jack the frame up and let it droop.

    Those look to be 5100s for "3-4in lift" which you are right are way too long. With a 1in block its part number 33-230337 They would probably be a good choice for lots of spring upgrades too where people usually use standard length 5100s

    My thoughts as well. Trying to help a buddy put together pieces and parts from the TRD lift.

    If the donut spacer is the new part I could make that out of junk in the spare parts drawer. I figured this was a nice way to keep it OEM looking and billet is nice for no rust.

    My scrap pile version. Random piece of painted aluminum sheet with a couple of bends, a couple of holes, a bolt and a nut and I didn't have to dig up a longer metric bolt. Also some loctite to make sure it doesnt go anywhere.
