What is it? Parts raining from under my dash...

So, I was vacuuming the truck, after a visit to the beach, and found this in my floor mat. Anyone know what it is? I also noticed "spring tensioning sounds" when I press the break to start the truck. These sounds seemed to have started after the rubber goodie appeared.

 

Brake pedal spring dampener... common for it to fall out. I'll find a repair link. Stay tuned.

Of course, its like a Subaru part, you need (9) 12" long fingers. Each finger must have four knuckles. And the magical adhesive to hold it in place is on back order from Japan. Sheesh...
