I have a 2nd Gen w 185k miles that needed front brakes, calibers'& rotors(1st time replacing calibers) rear drums&shoes I requested drums new spring kit 4rear(1st time);full synthetic oil change. $1500? Seems like it's on high side but it saved me A LOT of time & allowed me to work on a full reno of full bath. Also I would have done it myself as I usually do repairs on my own vehicle but with my rheumatoid arthritis in my hands, it becomes very difficult doing certain meticulous things. But overall what's the thoughts on the cost that I paid for the work done? Thanks in advance to all that give answers!

Sounds about right to me too.
It sounds expensive when you lump it all into one sum.

Broken down WITH parts. That's about right.

People often forget, they are paying someone else to fix their problem, and all the unforeseen problems that come with the "main problem".
I too do most of my own work, but there are times I'll pay some one to take a disaster off my hands.
    My problem is now theirs......
