    Hello everyone

So I have replaced the map lights with both regular bulbs and led ones, but they don't get to work.
The DOME does work, I have switched the fuse and lights and everything.
so I am not sure if anyone has faced this issue.

I tried using one of those things that check for current and got nothing (did got something on the DOME). but I am not 100% that it worked.

Is there a chance that my cable for map lights is bad? where could I find the other end?
If that is the case, is there a way to feed the current from the DOME to the Map lights?

    Thanks in advance!

From a trouble shooting standpoint, I think you're going to have to drop the panel they're in, and check that everything is connected and you're getting power at that point.
Have you had a windshield replaced lately?

I removed the panel, thats where I couldn't get power, in the little white thing that connects to the panel.

Pretty simple, see what your missing.

Pin 1 (White) is Power and Pin 2 (White/Black) is Ground, see which one your missing and report back.

Here I am testing the connector and it didn't work.
I also tried with a led strip, that I know works, but here it didn't

    Any suggestions?

Need to check it at Connector 1E Pin 7 (White) on the Driver's Side Junction Box then.

You also need to get the ground alligator clip attached to an Unpainted Metal surface.
The one you're using in the picture appears to be painted.

Hello guys, I haven't been able to remove all the panels to access the connector
Its been raining and family duties have been there too. I didn't want to just ignore your posts and go on. Hopefully, this week I will be able to resolve this thing. Thank you!!

But you still have nothing on the White wire at the map light connector?

    Yes, that is correct.
    When I tested this:

I also tested with the dome lights (using the same place for the ground) and it light up on the Dome.

Well then it would seem the wire is broken somewhere between Connector 1E and the map light connector as there are no intermediate connectors.
I'd pull the A-Pillar trim and check there, maybe you will get lucky.

You mean in the panel, right? I guess that is the next step.

If that doesn't work, is it possible to bring current from the Dome itself?

No the trim piece between the dash and headliner.

Certainly could but I prefer to find and fix broken wires if I can as there is typically damage to other wires as well.
They both get power from the same source on separate wires.
