Just got done installing the LCE big brake upgrade kit. The hard lines off the calipers hits my fox 2.5 coilover springs. Has anyone had this problem? upload_2025-1-25_18-42-39.jpg

You’re missing a small bracket that holds the transition from hard to rubber brake lines that attaches to the spindle

Couldn’t put the brackets on due to the spindle gusset. I think what I might do is rebend the hard lines and weld the brackets to the spindle gusset. And hopefully get the clearance I need. Been stewing over this for a few hrs.

I have a feeling it might still hit the coil. While running the stock LCA’s and stock brakes. I was rubbing on the banjo bolt at full steer and a little bit of flex. Going back to stock shocks is out of the question. To much invested in the front end. Lol!

This is the right way to install if you have gusseted spindles. You need that bracket on the spindle, otherwise the stainless steel line is putting way too much force (as it bounces around) on the hard line into the caliper, and the hard line will eventually/quickly fail.

I would say otherwise. Many others, me included, has ran SS line to hard lines without support between the two on solid axle truck and get abuse on rocks without failure.

    OK, I guess.

On the other hand, there's a reason Toyota puts a bracket everywhere there's a transition from soft <---> hard line.

Probably not worth arguing about. Just seems like a lot of leverage to me.

Did you get it sorted? Can I ask why you went with the LCE kit over the tundra upgrade?

I have not got it sorted out yet. The LCE is the tundra upgrade kit. Tundra calipers and disks. I’ve had a lot on my plate lately and been just road driving no off-roading yet till I get it fixed. Still unsure what to do.
