Not so many camping trips planned for this year, I've been saving for a couple of years now for a real big family vacation. This March, we'll be heading down to Port Orleans Riverside in Disney World. So that is where the bulk of my money and PTO will be going to this year. I'm sure we'll still do a few shorter camping trips though. I now have to check a few things on the taco and make sure the maintenance is all up to par, we'll be taking the taco for the drive down to Disney. I'm a sucker for a road trip and looking forward to it!

It definitely didnt help that the original owner of my truck did nothing to prevent it. Well, maybe in his mind it was prevention but it made it so much worse.

I just realized I never posted my refinished wheels in my build thread. The finish was failing on my scs wheels. I bought them new for my old tacoma, so they are definitely at least 10 years old. 10 winters and 10 years of rock chips will take its toll. So I asked a local powder coater to strip them and recoat them. My first and second color choices were out as he didnt have enough powder to do all 4 wheels, so I went with my third choice. And i'm honestly really glad the others were out, this color really suits the truck.

Its impossible to tell in any of these pictures, but there is a bit of pearl in the finish.

This is a couple of weeks late, well maybe closer to a month, but we took the taco on a 2400 mile roundtrip road trip to Disney World. It operated flawlessly, got 20 mpg, and turned 192,000 miles on the way back. This was my first family's first time ever to Disney, and I am pretty sure I was more excited than anyone else on the trip LOL. Being a landscape architect, the flower and garden displays at Epcot would incredible to see. There is way too much to see and do at Disney, I'm not sure how anyone can do it without taking a month off of work. On our "break day", we spent the day at the beach and I had to make a pit stop of course to a place that I have ordered several parts from for the Integra.

    Some obligatory photos:

We stopped for the night in Savannah Georgia. I wish it wasnt raining when we were there, I definitely wanted to do some exploring there. We found this amazing coffee shop that we had to stop at before we made the rest of the trip to Disney.

And this one is going to need some context. My kiddos love watching old Family Matters episodes, so when they saw this Isetta up the street from the coffee shop, they demanded I get a picture of it with them while they posed like Urkel.

Then the beach and my quick pitstop. I will say, speedway blue looks nice and clean even when its filthy lol
