Looking forward to seeing what you end up doing for them Creed. You had any farm implement time lately? What else haven't you done that you have your eye on?

We love our little neighborhood and have been thinking for a few years about sizing up, we might just get that opportunity here soon. Neighbor two doors down just came off the big D and he's looking to downsize. Split level, 2 car garage, huge back yard, pool...room for a detached garage eventually. Might try and work a little off the market deal here and cut realtors out...

    The thought of moving :bananadead::bananadead:

I want to build a cultipacker sometime, I think that is what I have my eye on.

Moving stinks while it's happening but it's worth it most of the time!!! Hope it all works out for you all.

Sounds crazy, but I've been debating selling this house and just getting a townhouse somewhere closer to work. There's so many things going wrong with this house I've had enough and just want to rent for a while.

    Can’t like that, sorry.

Get your townhouse, rent out the home to pay for said townhouse.

Alternatively, keep on keeping on fixing the things you need to make the house more to your liking.

Holding real estate is beneficial for so many reasons..yeah, it’s a PITA sometimes but advantageous, too.

There's no way I'd rent this place. Someone would likely over-run the well and over-use the septic system. Both systems are going to need replaced within 3-5 years and I don't want to deal with those repairs honestly. Not to mention someone would likely trash the place. Seen it all too often.

I've recently (like most) lost my investment cushions so those $40Kish repairs scare the crap (pun intended) out of me. I'm not even counting digging down the front of the house to fix a potential foundation issue.

Troof, only if one could afford it. The Americans dream is gradually out of reach seemingly!

Wow! Simply “Where there's a will, there's a way”. I would imagine it’s not easy to have the two vehicles nicely following your command during the rearrangement.

When the powdercoater says he needs some new hitch brackets that aren't 1/8" thick, you make him some out of 1/4" stainless :D

The old lathe has been dead for some time, can't get parts for it. Time to scrap it.

    upload_2025-4-8_14-43-1.jpg

I got some trash and sheet metal off today.

    upload_2025-4-8_14-43-22.jpg

Started cleaning this off and there is worn out sandpaper on it from the 1800's which proves my point, the dude who ran it couldn't throw ANYTHING away :frusty:

I talked to the MAC guy who retired today and told him the other guy told me the light only had a year warranty. He said he was full of it and should have traded it out.

The red one on the trailer runs & drives, no problem putting it on the trailer.

This wasn't even work, it is all flat - at home on the hill, not that can be work. :ballchain:

Mrs Green had an appointment at ophthalmology today, they dilated her eyes so she couldn't drive for a bit, we needed a way to spend some time downtown.

    This fit the bill:

As a bonus I got her mushrooms & onions.
