Got out on my Husky yesterday and loaded it up on the Taco for the drive. Drove great at 75mph on the highway! The rear camera was nice to chk straps.

And, gratuitous pic at the overlook!

That's awesome. How much weight can that trailer-hitch mount hold? I assume you just huck it up on there and strap it down yourself?

I was thinking about getting a small dual-sport, but not a dedicated dirt bike.

The rack can hold 300lbs if I remember correctly. The receiver is rated for 10% of the tow rating, so 650lbs. The bike is about 245-250lbs, so well within the limits.

I've had a cheap "black widow" hauler for almost 10 years now... originally used it on my second gen (lifted so a real pain getting bikes in the back) and now use it on my 4th gen... never let me down and SO much easier than putting it in the bed (don't have to fold my softopper down either) If I've gotta haul 2 dirtbikes at once I have someone with a long bed drive . Or... I've got a harbor freight trailer that I put marine plywood on with wheel chocks and welded some angle iron onto the tongue to triangulate it... that works great for 2-3 bikes... or I stick them in the promaster we've got at work (usually my go-to for sketchy weather so I can sleep in my tow rig)

I have the same setup and could not be happier. So much nicer than a trailer or putting it in the bed. Oddly, I have FE 350, same hauler, straps and same color truck. For a split second I thought, damn that guy stole my bike and truck, hah.

    Man, I love my FE350. I had a 501 and a Beta 430RR. The 350 is like riding a big mountain bike!

I have the same one, I use it for my DRZ, I love it, I can leave my truck bed configured however I want and don't need to deal with a trailer.

Only drawback is it's only for solo. I'm the only one in my family that rides, and my friends bring their own trucks, so it's perfect.

This dude shows up at dual sports around the Midwest... and he's got more than one Notice the trunk lid hinges that double as boot dryers. Dude converted the passenger side into a bed and he sleeps in it!

edit to clarify... that's not the dude, that's my buddy Andy (owner of Metro Motorcycle in Neenah WI for anyone in the area)

I fully agree with that... I had a 430 and it was not the most nimble woods bike... the beta 350 feels a lot more like a 2 stroke to me, and I just keep getting more 2 strokes. Went from a 300rr to a 250rr and that was a noticeable change even. The 250 is really nimble
