Has anyone successfully cleaned or refinished their composite truck bed? I'm looking for advice or recommendations on good products to help with mine. The previous owner was a painting contractor, and my bed is in rough shape—covered in paint splatter and various stains, including on the bed sides. I was considering a bed mat, but even with one, it still looks pretty bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You could have it lined, Krylon paint for plastic, or just leave it alone, it’s a truck bed.

The bed sides are textured so try hit it with some 303 and let it sit, the 303 should work it's way under the paint splotches, then use a PLASTIC scraper and see how it goes. Pressure washing may work, but use a fan tip.

Bed mat is practical. Tonneau cover would hide everything.

If you refinish it, you'll just worry about messing it up again

My truck bed was used for work, but not abused. I had some paint drips and blobs and oil spots and general scrapes and dirt. I softened and removed the paint with Goo Gone. Soak a rag, put it on the paint spots and remove with plastic scraper when it softens up. Oil and dirt removed with Simple Green. The sun, weather, and Mother Nature removed most of the remainder over time. A bed mat hides all the normal scrapes and scratches and a Sharpie covers the deeper ones. The composite bed shows no fading or sun damage even after 10 years, but then my son's 2005 doesn't either. I washed it once with the car-wash wand three years ago.

I hand painted the few small gouges in the composite where the Fiberglas was showing through with a couple of coats of satin black rustoleum.
