2018 TRD Sport 4x4

I’m trying to upgrade my 2018 radio unit with a Toyota OEM unit 2020+ (86140-04230). I see NON-JBL units everywhere on eBay but I’m a bit unsure if I can replace my current JBL unit with it. I just want CarPlay with stock functionality working. Does anyone have any experience with this?
