I recently added a steel bumper and winch to my truck (~150lb added weight), and I’m looking to upgrade my suspension, but I couldn’t find an answer to my question:

I want to keep stock or close to stock height (1” lift max in the front), and my question is if I get the following Bilstein 6112 front/5100 rear setup with the upgraded 650lb coils and installed on #5/#3, will that keep mostly stock height? I know with the standard coils it would, but wondered if the 650lb coils would be any different?

    Setup I’m looking at: https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/s...S16BK-2_with_optional_AAL_[Tacoma_16-23].html

Sounds like a question for @HeadStrong Off-Road. Have you tried calling them about this yet? You might even need 700lb coils with that much weight up front.

I just installed 6112s with 650 springs set at 5/7 which gave me 21 3/4" hub to fender, stock is 21".
My truck has a lot of extra weight. In the front I have an 85lb bumper with 30lbs of aux lights but no winch. Under the truck I have 150lbs of skid armor. On the roof 100lbs with my rack. And about 150lbs in the cab and bed.

With the weight you have, a 5/3 setting on 650# spring will get you very close to stock lift height. Also, we have what you're looking for over here at Hotshot Offroad as well. Happy to help!

Thanks, that sounds about like what I’m looking for. I might consider even doing 6/4 because I have about half the weight you do, and I don’t plan on adding armor weight (yet :D)
