New 2024 TRD Off Road won’t start

Hello all. New to this Forum. And the no start is a real thing folks. I had the same thing happen last Saturday after work. I also kept getting a code 4040 which states “ all preconditions must be met” . I called Toyota roadside and they put my 2024 trd off road with only 3007 miles on the back of the roll back tow truck. Anyway folk, my service tech informed me that the starter has gone bad and that according to Toyotas internal mechanics forums, there is a growing issue and in my service writers words “will probably result in a recall” . So they are seeing a lot apparently. And the icing on the cake, it’s going to be at least 2 weeks because there are no starters to be had in the US.
