The one I posted above uses those rails for the clamps to attach to, I assume the other ones linked from others do as well.

Depends on what type of cover you want. I've had a vinyl tri-fold from Amazon that clipped into the rails and while it worked well I found I didn't like the style. I switched it up to an old school color matched SnugLid hard cover that I refurbished. I like the looks of it much more and it still works well for what little actual truck hauling I do with it. Works great as a trunk since it's lockable.

On a side note if there is anyone in the Socal area that wants a 6 ft tri-fold tonneau I've got one for sale.

It will come down to what you primarily use the truck for and what type of cover you're looking for. Most aftermarket covers will include specialized hardware kits to work with your Deck Rails so that you can easily install the cover. I'd be happy to give you some solid recommendations based on what you're looking for. Feel free to PM me or email me at forums@realtruck.com!

Wouldn’t order a tonneau cover. It creates a shoe box.

if you’re going to limit the truck like that, then one way is an eBay roll up. Around $100.
    -it is cheap
    -resellable
    -least obtrusive opening method

I find the tri-fold is pretty simple, if I have something longer, like lumber, I can just flip it up and snap it. And to take it off takes just a couple minutes. Might also improve hwy mpg a bit, but haven't confirmed.
