Oh yeah, they're definitely going to want more money to fix the rubbing issue. Do you have a paper drawn up, with the stated work to be done? Anything in writing or maybe even communicated over email/text? I would think, since this shop is well known for lifts, suspension work, tires and wheels and everything involving such things, that that would list and state any and everything needed for the current project. Hopefully, they can and will make it right, within reason and be easy to work with. Sure hope so for your sake OP.

You must not have done your research before you planned all the work to be done, because if you want to fit 285's, its almost a guarantee you will need a cmc. Some people will say they dont rub with a good alignment, but I guarantee they will rub if they ever try to take it off road. You cant really blame the shop for not doing the cmc if you did not ask or pay for it, but it probably would have been nice for them to tell you its more than likely you will need one with the tire size you chose. I have the same lift, tire size, but my wheels are -10 offset, and I have old man emu UCA's, and I had the same type of rub only when going in reverse. After I got my cmc, and a good alignment, everything was good.
