Well, I wanted to share this to the forum in case anyone is interested in saving a buck and buying some DX4's. Specifically the Flares. I have to be honest. I wanted to stray away from Method because everyone has them. I don't like to be like errrr one else. So I saw the DX4 Flares for a very affordable price through America's Tires at $173 a rim! $880 total with install and a great warranty through America's Tires. Well....immediately I could feel something was off. My new suspension felt harsh and I had a ton of vibrating. Took the wheels back to America's Tires 3 times and they were able to mitigate the shake/vibration just a little bit by putting a ton of weights on...

So I had called DX4 a few days before the last attempt to "fix" the rims. The guy said that most likely, if there are a lot of weights that need to be put on to correct the shake, they suggest getting a set of replacement DX4 rims as those could be defected from a bad mold. Not something you want to hear from the manufacturer.

Called America's Tires saying I didn't want that solution but would rather get a different brand and they were super cool on replacing the wheels with a different set. So I opted for some forged Black Rhino Stadiums in bronze in the same measurements, 16 x 8 -10. I really wanted to stick with the -10 offset as I am not going 285's but wanted an aggressive stance. I simply had to pay the difference for the new wheels and wow....holy sh!t....immediate difference and no vibrations. My truck feels great again and looks fantastic.

An honest "you get what you pay for" experience. I wanted to like the DX4's but I learned more about cast and forged rims, and buying reputable wheels...go forged rims.

For any forum trolls reading this and wanting to talk sh!t. Suck it. HA Beat them to the punch. Kooks. Thanks for reading!
