Landscaping Thread-Show Off Your Landscape

I was thinking of some other stuff, one that came up was japanese spirea. But i like the yellow spring bugs of the forsythia

I have a lot of space out back with more varying amounts of sun to work with. I do like how easy it is to mow, i like having the bougie open lawn, but i also think it could use some pizzaz.

It's like a cheese pizza. Whenever I go to a new pizza place, i have to get the plain cheese and see how it stacks up. After that I'll play. I've had my cheese pizza, now it's time to play

Also, any input is welcome. I'm not shy about not knowing much about landscaping and gardening. No flack at all.
