Love the Softtopper. I'm wanting to get one for my truck, since the tonneau the previous owner put on had ripped from old age, and I like it better as an interim before going bed rack + RTT than a hard shell. (Or maybe I like the soft top enough I stick with it. Who knows?) Happy trailhunting!

Thank you! The color is one of the main reasons I picked this one over a couple other trucks I was looking at.

Don't be surprised if you just end up loving the Softopper if you get one. I was originally planning on getting a rack and RTT eventually after the Softopper, but I really love the versatility of it, plus with the six foot bed there's plenty of space to camp in it

Yeah, for me the question is if I wind up needing the space under the notional rack for storage. Short-to-medium term, a topper, pad, and sleeping bag will do me. I have an xtracab so there's storage space for some things in the alleged seats back there.

That definitely makes sense, that's why I'm thinking about making a small trailer or something for camping so I can sleep in the truck bed and haul stuff in the trailer. I'm jealous of you extended cab guys having any amount of storage behind the seats lol

8N1 Blue Horizon Metallic - One of the best colors! Congrats on the purchase.

I love Horizon Blue! Its such a cool color, especially with how it seems to shift depending on the light it's in.

I skimmed through your build thread and you've done some things I definitely want to do in the future, especially the rear bumper, I'm torn between the 4xInnovations one and the Trail Gear one. I want some bedside protection but I don't really want to cut into the panels for it.

I'm definitely jealous of your v6 and 5 speed, plus the room of the extended cab lol

Never mind the 4xInnovations rear bumper, I can't find the tube one anymore. I found it a while back and really liked it, but now I can't find it anywhere

The build is looking awesome so far and we are stoked to hear that you are happy with the Softopper! We can't wait to see what else you do with it!

Nice rig. You're doing a great job. Don't be envious on the six-banger, four in a row is the way to go.
