I prefer 0 because I usually need to replace a windshield each spring (as it gets cracked sometime in winter).

Apparently it estimates based on recent driving history. Mine is usually in the 350-370 range, but after a long drive into the wind with multiple fill ups it dropped to ~340. It seems to have certain numbers I see frequently (e.g., 354 in my case).

Installed custom mini mud flaps. Needed something to help with the rocks chipping my paint but dont want them to get in the way offroad. Purchased some Amazon returns of already cheap OEM knockoffs and trimmed them down with tin snips and cleaned it up with sand paper. Also cut off the side ridges so that they will bend easier when hitting rocks, etc which I hope will decrease the chance of them getting ripped off. Still need to do the front ones. May end up going shorter and will have more trimming and probably some heat gun work to do when I get bigger tires.

I also replaced some of the plastic fender flare clips on one of my fender flares with nuts and bolts to try to get rid of the gap. The mounts are a bit bent and cracked so even new clips wasnt going to fix it. Overall I like the bolt concept but my execution was a bit poor. Really need to epoxy some nuts and studs to the fender flare to do it properly. Still a big improvement over the gap I had going.

IMG_4089.jpg So if my tank is 21gal and I’m getting 25 mpg I should be able to get 525 miles on a tank?

    Looks nice, I like it.
If you end up using the aluminum for the battery box, protect it from getting battery acid on it. The two don't play nicely together.

Testing. Testing. This quieted some noises that cropped up recently, can anyone recommend a more permanent solution?

Warranty replaced my headlights yesterday. Out with XB's in with XB Evo's! Also redid the plasti-dip on my mirror caps. They were looking a little rough, ha.

Clean between the leafs then get a lubricant in there. Might also be able to install leaf spring pads between them.

Why, isn't there a magnet on the tcase plug? Doesn't make sense to me.

You might be able to separate the leaves and put a shim in there to stop the steel from rubbing.

Lift the truck off the ground to unload the springs, spread the 2 leaves with a screwdriver or pry bar, then put something rubber between them. I used parts of an old bicycle tube.

That should shut up the springs for quite a while, mine have been quiet for over a year now.
You can kinda see it on mine near the leaf mount.

Looks like it's missing an isolator like the leaves beneath it. Should be able to add one back.

Also thought this, and have a few these in a box for when I do my fluids. IIRC it's the same plug for the transfer case and rear diff. Magnetic Drain Plug | Trail Toys
