Texas Off-Highway Vehicle Program:
It is recommended that you have a current Texas OHV pass on your vehicle if you wheel at Barnwell Mountain. They run $17 each and can be gotten at the park or from many other shops in Texas like 4WheelParts and more. It is required by state law and enforced by game wardens at all parks that accept state grants and in the national forests. The past two years I have not seen a game warden show up to Jambo to enforce this, but never hurts. Plus if you wheel... why not help support the continued use of the Off-Highway Vehicle Program in the state of Texas!

I'm glad that found this. A big group off-roaders from Arkansas and surrounding states will be coming to Jambo 19. Still counting participants.

We appreciate the Jambo staff coming up for the Razorback Ramble May 29th - June 1st. Its cool to support our TLCA clubs around the country.

 

Look forward to being there for a day or two! Taking the week off and planing on the Jamboree Saturday and Sunday (Air BnB in Avinger) and then roaming the Linden, Lonestar, Avinger area to "help" <cough> with the local hog population.

 

Wait? The what now? Superlift Park is 20 minutes from my house!

 

Yep. The new owners have transformed this to be one of the best Off-Road Parks in the central US. The trails are accurately rated, expanded camping sites, added dump sites for RVs, clean restrooms and showers.
