Need better fog lights for my Tacoma as we have herds of deer running around the area. Condition aren't typically too bad for visibility and it's generally early mornings I'd like better output.
Factory fog are garbage in the Sport model.
Had white Rigids in my Tundra and loved them.
Does anyone have feedback on the Diode Dynamics SS6 foglight SAE kit in either white or yellow. There isn't a decent video or true life comparison online for this model.
Found one for the pro version although it's not a fair comparison.
    Thanks in advance.

if you need some asap, their current kit is good. they are releasing that kit with their new lights soon though. they will be better output. i'm waiting on that release before i upgrade my fogs.

    Are they street legal?

I've heard the same regarding the new kit although it could be months before this is released according to the tech department. I'd be willing to wait if there was an approximate lead time but nobody there seems to have even a rough idea when, pricing info or output details on the latest version.

I did the Amber street legal ones from Diode Dynamics. Getting to them and esp getting the screws in and tightened down is a pain. They don't sit flush with the back of the upper bumper face but they line up well. I'm happy with them overall.

    Thanks for the feedback.
Installation looks like a process compared to many other vehicles.
I've run Rigid SAE pods and still have a spare set. Their output is great as well but the Tacoma front end is limited for install options that look clean.

Does leveling the lights without accessible adjustment screws and does prying the bar work ok? Doesn't look ideal although the front end design restricts any other access.
Overall are you happy with the output compared to the factory lights and do they project light much further?

Frankly, it’s a pain in the ass to level them. You need to snug the mounting bolts tight enough to hold them in place but leave them adjustable enough to move them once back together. I’m happy with the light output though and now that they’re pointed where I want them, I don’t expect to have to move them or for them to move.

For leveling, to the post above, you want them tight enough not to move. I leveled them by measuring each edge from the top to the contour of Toyota's body panel before putting the bumper trim piece fully back in place (a bit of back and forth)

I'd like for them to sitting closer to the upper bumper face trim panel but haven't quite figured out best approach for that... If @mthopt9n has ideas. Theirs look to be sitting closer, or it's just not as obvious.

Trying to take the front of the truck off as few times as possible!

    Thanks for that.
Any estimates on how much more light output than the factory and if you'd stick with amber vs clear.
