I miss our Subie, gave it to our daughter, that was awesome in the snow and ice

 

We also have a forester, and that thing is a freakin beast in any weather conditions

 

This is a big reason why I full-time FJ swapped my truck - I wanted a Tacomaru. I sort of chanced in to my first Subaru a number of years ago (1st gen Forester), but it quickly made a believer out of me. Absolutely love those cars!

 

After I put snow tires on mine, I'd take the "bad" and/or rural routes to and from work just for fun. They made it almost a little too good though, I have a NA-auto and it's a lot of work/coordination to get it sliding..

 

That's how I felt when running Falken Wildpeaks on my MT. I had to work to break them loose

 

Thought I'd check here before biting the down time bullet and having mine powdercoated - anyone around here have a set of 2G 16x7 alloys? I'd be interested in either nicer originals, or 'cores' to have refinished as long as they're not in too bad of shape..

 

Have you checked face book market place? I see Toyota truck take offs all the time.

 

+1 for watching marketplace, they come up pretty frequently here in the UP

 

Marketplace is the only reason I wish I still had the facebooks..but unfortunately I don't have that option and nobody uses Craigslist out here..
