Hey guys, looking for some help.

Since I restarted my truck for the first time in 2 years (I bypassed the EGR and charcoal canister, and I don’t have a catch can yet), it’s been running with no power and doing backfires when driving around 80 km/h. At first, I got a P0171 code (system too lean).

A week or two later, I rescanned it and got a P0325 (Knock Sensor). Thing is, the knock sensor is brand new, installed during the rebuild. Yesterday I cleaned the MAF sensor with the proper cleaner — it was pretty corroded around the edges. I cleaned it thoroughly and reinstalled it.

At first, it started and ran better, but it didn’t take long before the issue came back and P0325 popped up again. I drove it shifting at high RPM, and it started bucking really hard at low speed. I managed to get home by keeping the RPM high, otherwise it would bog and jerk too much.

I tried clearing the codes, but it still acts the same. Now, there are no codes showing, but it stalls on its own and backfires a lot…

Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? Any ideas?
