    First post/ first time being on here as well. IMG_0952.png
    21k OTD, clean CARFAX and inside & out. Minor rusting from being next to a body of water in TX. Other than that she seems clean. Should I walk away due to rust

    Depends what you mean by minor rust and what kind of shape it's in overall, I'd recommend getting a used vehicle inspection done by a shop you trust if your not confident in looking it over top to bottom yourself before buying any used vehicle.

    Not if you don't live in the salt country or on the coast but trucks from those areas do end up here from time to time so good idea to look it over good.

    Mine doesn't have a bit of rust.

    Looks like this underneath, on the tow hitch and under the hood on some parts as well.

    That’s just the skid it looks like, can you get photos of the frame under the actual cab? That’s what’s most important.

    On the inside of the frame rails near the converters, on the rear section above the axle, and where the 2 layers of the frame are sandwiched together are where they tend to rot out.

    Lucky! mine was in Maryland before I had it :bananadead: has a bit of surface rust on the cab mounts but that’s it.
