01-04 don’t have courtesy lights, they aren’t even wired for that circuit. I changed to 01-04 panels and used the circuit for the puddle lights on my mirrors.

I have a '99 with the same color and style. It took me maybe a week of looking and I found one. Facebook Marketplace and eBay are good sources as well as junkyards. Don't give up, they are out there.
