How do you like them? I need to get some because my wife is only 5-2 but I’m trying to find some made from aluminum. I had the Predators on my 3rd gen which I really liked so I might go with them but yours were half the dang price so now I’m thinking I might just get steel steps

I like them, my wife and kids really like them. they are super light if that's what you are wanting aluminum for. I have some different brackets that came in after I installed them. I guess the vendor realized that they sit a little too close to the front. I will install and post a pic so that you can see the difference.

In the market for an upgrade…how’s the hood rattle on the sport with the scoop? Seen a few videos about that but it’s usually the “xxxx things I hate about my Tacoma” clickbait videos on YouTube.

Got another box in 2 days after i installed the stepsides. Apparently they had a second set of mounting bracked options that offset them to the rear by a couple inches. They look more center now.

    Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT275/70/18s installed today. @ ODO 1212
1139$ on tire rack. 100$ for install and balance.

Photo has truck uphill and front tire turned toward camera. Plenty of room with stock suspension. No rubs with Full movement.

How old are your kids if you don’t mind me asking? How’s the room for them? I have a grand highlander right now which is great for space but I need to be able to put my kids kart in the box of a truck now. I had a 2019 taco that I loved but sold because we had a baby. I know the back seat isn’t any bigger but would love feedback on how others find it with kids. I never got to use mine with the kids.

also considering getting a small light weight toy hauler to tow behind it at some point (the super small ones)

I actually have 6 kids. Oldest is 9, youngest is 3months. The kids LOVE the truck and have no issues with space even with car seats and baby seats. They ALWAYS want to ride around in the truck with me. (I had a small work car previously) My wife drives a Ford Transit Passenger Van, so when we go out as a family, that is what we use. My wife and I are small people and we have plenty of room in both the front and the back. ( I am 5'9" 152 lbs, wife is probably 5'4" 120lbs )

As far as putting a go-kart in the back, definitely doable. We have one for the kids and it fits in my truck.
In regard to the toy hauler, i have seen plenty of people that haul camper trailers with their trucks. Our plan is to get a small camper so that we can go camping and haul it with the taco. i believe towing capacity is 6500 but there are plenty of trailers in the 4000 range

Friend woth a jeep truck sold his truck and couldnt ever sell the bed cover. He gifted to me. With a little modification to mounting, I got it to fit on the Taco.
