Speedo and tach lighting

    Is there any way to make the speedo and tach lighting work without the headlights on. Even when daytime running lights are on during the day only the center lights up. Sometimes it’s difficult to see the temp and gas gauges because of the darkness. Seems strange that it doesn’t light up all the time

    just keep your marker lights on. they turn off with the door opening after the truck is turned off, so they'll be ready to go to come on 'automatically' when you start the truck next

    but you lose the auto-headlights feature, which i don't use anyways.

    you can also cover the 'dot' sensor on the dash to make your headlights come on 100% of the time, or in the vehicle settings in the oem radio, set the auto headlight sensitivity to the lowest possible setting, and then partly cover the sensor to offer 100% on-time.
