    Oh I see. I thought that most midskids would cover the crossmember. At least mine does. I have taken some pretty hard hits to it.

    90% sure that skid is designed to prevent cat theft, not damage.

    Its designed for both. It is their transmission skid but i hadnt gotten their engine skids yet which fill in that space.
