Looking at racks for my 2024 Tacoma, and wanted to see if anyone on here has ordered Thule racks or Yakima racks for their 4th gen Tacoma?

I’m pretty set on these due to using them for work and surfing and camping and they’re very versatile.

I've bookmarked mount parts to utilize Yakima stuff I already own but haven't ordered anything yet. For having a Fas-Top I've also bookmarked their compatible rack with height adjustment.

Before committing to cab roof cross bar rack will be needing to know if the arc of a board or canoe gunwales will interfere when the soft topper part of the Fas-Top is up.

Been looking at the different options to use Yakima bars on the factory mount points. I am a bit surprised Yakima hasn’t formally said which landing pad would work best. The landing pad 24 which works on the “2005+ Tacoma” is listed as “not compatible” with the 2024+ model. Looking at the gap of the landing pad 24 on the gen 3 Tacoma, I would prefer something a little flatter on the rubber part. It appears the gen 4 Tacoma doesn’t have quite the lip the gen 3 has.

Looking at some of the other landing pad options, landing pad 22 and landing pad 25 look promising. Granted pictures on Yakima’s website aren’t the best. I wouldn’t be surprised if landing pad 24 would work on the gen 4, but if I can avoid the gap, that would be great.

I think I am going to need to find a dealer that has some stuff in stock and see what some of these look like in person.
