Any Clue Lost Radio Audio

I had the system dial a phone number. No answer. Hit the phone button to disconnect. After that I had no radio audio on AM, FM, Sirrius/XM. Pushed the enable audio and the mute on/off many times. No sound. Pushed the speak button and said "turn on radio", replied with "radio turned on". No sound. Forty miles later finally got home in silence and turned off the truck for a few minutes, turned it back on and now I have sound. Any clue why?

 

Just reboot the display by holding down the control for about 5 seconds or so. Clears up most issues.

 

Thanks I appreciate that. I have the small radio. Are you talking about the little mute/volume knob on the radio itself?

 

Yes, press in the volume knob until it resets. About 5 seconds. The screen will go dark and then come back on.

 

OP - now is the time you’re supposed to tell us that you forgot to mention that you just installed six accessories and spliced a bunch of wires that connect to the multimedia

 

Those days are long over. I keep them stock these days. One of the side effects of age. When you get an idea like that you find yourself saying F' it a lot more.
