Same with ours, dad dark red and mom normal golden. Mine has a white patch on the chest that was unique to only him in the litter.

Torqued my new moog upper control arms nicely at ride height (I know… I know… I’m on a budget right now). Put the truck back down and gave it a shake test

    evaluate it.

    -inner fender trim
    -outer fender trim
    -CMR
    -bump stop spacer
    -pinch weld hammer
    -mud flaps solution
    -offset choice
    -UCA’s
    -alignment

hardest part with bigger tires is probably seeing if it needs JD Inner Fenders. Which probably comes with 35” and definitely 37”.

    Keeping it running
Took the tires off and now the truck waits for further inspection and more parts to be bought… what else do you see needing replacement/upgrade. I know the end links on both sides need it. I think I need to get new leaf springs and rear shock? Maybe just add-a-leaf and shocks?

You need to be protecting that frame from rust. Hopefully it's not already too late

I have the OEM steering wheel from my 2013 just sitting on the shelf. I kept the audio controls though. Let me know if you’re interested.

On 885 coils with bilstein 5100 (2.25” lift). Also trying the moog control arms after having SPC.

the ride is pretty good, feels a lot different than the SPCs though. Steering felt kinda heavier

Oil change 39 today. Knocked it out pretty fast. Even the zerks were lined up pointing straight down when I parked. Easy peasey.

Fully welded in the rear and painted. Starting on front end shenanigans. All lines in engine bay are AN at this point. Prepping to cut the front cross member soon.

Chasing down a weird overheating issue (it's happened twice after hard mountain pass driving). So far I've done a coolant flush, replaced the thermostat and radiator cap.

Today I did the clutch fan.

Also cleaned the fan blades, lots of dirt build up.

We shall see how this helps, if not, next up is radiator, water pump and radiator hoses

get the rad loose I've helped friends chase overheating issues, and thrown parts like you have, only to remove the AC condenser from the mount, and found like a bunch of cotton wood fluf or other random stuff behind it pinned to the radiator causing a blockage. washed that all clear and back to normal. might be worth a look
