Which one do you have that uses 100W? I have a countertop Amazon Basics one that I've been using for years, and it's been great. Uses quite a bit more than 100W, though. 100W consumption would be great on trips.

That looks like an MTM ammo crate on the left, but not quite like the ones I have...

Also, not as cheap as these options here, but I always recommend Whynter's portable fridge/freezers. I bought one of their demo units around 2017, a 90QT dual-zone. Came along over plenty of bumpy roads and across state lines with me. I then found a great deal on a slim 45QT return at an overstock store, they didn't even know what it was. That one rides in the back seat now, and the 90QT is sitting at home keeping meat frozen. Low power consumption, quiet, and I haven't had any issues with them.

"princess auto special ammo crate" all it holds is tarp straps.

These are great, too. 19.99 in store. Not MTM, I forget the brand, but I think they're still made in the US.

    I have three sets.

It is a 1000W kettle (actually pulls ~986W). It takes ~6 minutes to boil the water. Thus, it only uses 100w of stored energy, or I guess you could say 100 WATT HOURS. Per my Bluetti AC200max (2048wh capacity), it consistently lowers it 5% (102.4wh).

    Sorry for the confusion.

Ahh, got it. That makes more sense. No worries, just got me excited haha. But that would probably take forever..

Mine is a 1500W, I'll have to check and see how much it consumes with my power station. Might be about the same, in a shorter time period.

Yeah, I'll bet it's the same general power, but quicker as you said. It sure is easier than pulling out a pan to heat the water over the propane stove top. Love having the kettle.

Large portion of the year those aren't allowed for use due to burn bans where we camp. Gas only. Or electric obviously.

Enforced or not, I don't wanna be the dude that burns 200,000 acres, lol. Maybe it doesn't get as dry up there. Down here it can get sketchy. Even pulling wide on a trail can set dry grass on fire with your catalytic converters being so hot.
