For some reason my passenger side DRL is not working when i put my lights on auto (1st click)or when i put my headlights on manually(last click) only works when i put my DRL on (2nd click). My blinkers work fine, so i don't think it's a bulb issue. Can it be something else? I read somewhere to try a head unit reset. I did that but that didn't work.

Any electric mods? Mine wouldn’t work when I tried doing some custom wiring for power in the ceiling instrument panel and I had to reconfigure it. Thankfully, the DRL’s worked afterwards.

What trim is the truck? If it is a SR/SR5 with the amber DRL, it could be that the lower power filament is burned out. Not sure if you are testing auto in enough light. Best thing to do is test where sunlight is hitting the dash (the passengers side dash speaker to be precise) and with the truck running, e-brake off.

This is a 22 sr5 with the amber day time running lights. Both bulbs work with my turn signal and both work when i turn the switch to DRL. Only doesn't work when i turn auto switch for the lights or when i turn it to the 3rd switch for headlights. And its only the passenger side. Can it still be a bulb issue?

Instead of all these posts why not switch bulbs with brand new ones so you have an answer.

Yeah. Those are a 7442 bulb with two filaments, so one can be bad.

Replace the drivers side also it’s always best to replace both.
