Removing ac outlet door

    Does anyone have advice on how to remove the spring-loaded door that covers the AC outlet in the bed?

    Aren't there hex screws holding that panel on? I don't think the door itself is meant to be removed.

    You could leave a trailer hitch in the bed to slide around. That'll break the door off. :anonymous:

    I think the screws are Torx 50 or Torx 55. I believe the bed rails are Torx 30. :notsure:

    I took those screws out, but that's the whole outlet. I'd like to just remove the door itself...without resorting to breaking it!
