Sound only happens when I'm going below 25mph or so. I only really hear it when pulling out of parking lots, my driveway, and some slow city driving. I almost think it's a heat shield or something but with it only happening at low speeds and when I'm in drive I think it's an actual mechanical issue.

Previous owner did recently change the power steering pump and rack and pinion through a company called BBB industries

You can't upload videos directly to the site. Upload it to something like youtube and then just paste the URL here and it'll populate for you.

Certainly sounds like a rattle that could be a broken catalyst. Always hard to tell from phone audio. Hard to say, but it doesn't really sound like a vibrating heat shield.

Don't think it's a broken cataylist considering I got it smogged in febuary with no issues

Plus wouldn't I hear it while driving down the highway?

Maybe? It's really hard to tell from the recording so I may be way off. But it doesn't sound like rattling tin to me. Get a mechanics stethoscope and poke around, that should isolate it.

Yeah I'll take it to a shop eventually, maybe.

What's weird is that it gets worse when the car is in drive or reverse. It tends to calm down when in park

Auto or manual transmission? ETA: Well I guess "park" gives it away, so auto. I would check around the bell housing to see if perhaps the dust cover is loose, but I doubt it. A $10 stethoscope would point it out quickly, just probe around.

You just probe around with it and isolate the noise, once you start touching it to different areas it will be clear where the sound is coming from. Well, not always clear, but it certainly helps isolate the area where the noise is.
