I have the husky floor mats and all the melted water off my boots runs out the back of them. Not really in love with them but it's a manual so options are limited. What's the best way to clean this up?

    1. Pull the seat out. Pull the door sill/ foot trim panel out.

    2. Vacuum as much as possible. Amazon sells drill brush attachments to help loosen the debris. Ideally a white soft bristle version)

    3. Carpet cleaner solution of your choice diluted. Mix in sprayer and heavily saturate the carpet.

    4. Repeat with soft white drill brush attachment.

    5. Vacuum and suction out salty dirt solution with an extractor (carpet vacuum). Bissell makes compact versions for cheap.

    6. Repeat steps 3-5 as needed.

A steam machine helps with plastic. Otherwise, pay a professional detailer.

@MGMDesertTaco we have some kind of a dog pee carpet cleaner, which fortunately we've never needed. Would that work?
