First time ever getting my Black Pearl (Taco) the spa treatment. Full wash, clay bar, ceramic coating and interior cleaning. So nice seeing the shine again as if she's show room ready.

    Now the sad part.

My god! My roof top is sun faded hard! Perhaps I should have left all the dirt covering it to hide the fade. It sucks that Black Peral is only seven years old and never a garage kept vehicle.

Now Im at a cross road of either getting a wrap closely matching my paint for the roof top or leaving it alone... but I can't unsee the fade. I do plan on keeping Black Peral till her wheels fall off.

    Just a rant.

    Happy Friday all!

    Cheers.

Nice truck it’s worth having the top painted.

I was entertaining the thought, but pricing is considerably higher than a wrap.

I don’t see any rust so wrap should be good.

Your truck looks like new - great detail! I vote for the paint, as it's a permanent solution, and over time you will forget about it. The roof is an excellent candidate for repainting because it's horizontal and outside of one's line of vision. Even if the color match is not 100%, no one will notice and the roof will look 100% better.

It is disappointing though that the paint gave up after only 7 years when your mechanicals will live double or even triple that. Come on Toyota!
