can you share pictures of it? Also when you raise the bed, how far do you get to the back of the truck bed before having to bend your needs. I ask this because I am thinking about putting a Decked system in my trucks bed which is about 12 inches tall, and I am wondering if its going to be an issue with me standing on it in the camper. I am only 5.9 so not as tall as you....

Oh yeah, that model seems like it would be much better in weather. Looks like an exact copy of the GFC, which in my experience was actually pretty good in extreme weather. Price seems right on it for sure too.

I'm really curious to know about impact on fuel economy. My interest in Harker and others is not so much an extreme or dedicated overlander as much as replicating covered spaced I have with a van and occasional use for camping. Use as some ski are parking lot shelter.

Many have west coast pickup and not many have shipping to my upper midwest location. I could rationalize a Harker or GFC pickup during a ski trip this coming season.

    Thank you.

I have seen in different you tube channels a 15% or 20% MPG drop after a camper is added. I am expecting the same drop in MPG. It also depends how heavy you are on your foot accelerating, it could be worse.

Replying to a 2023 post could not be about any recent news. Up to late 2024 when I put off my idea of a tent topper Harker looked good in terms of price. Against some others I'd wondered if the price would hold or have to go up because I also recall they were a younger business compared to some others.

My curiosities on fuel mileage and weight (sag) remain. Same for using wedge/tent for skiing travel. My all February spent ski travel/bum mode saw a few of this style camper in parking lots but not camping. In the prior season I recall a couple all excited about roof top tent on their day 1 but they didn't look so happy when I arrived next to them from a hotel on day 2 LOL.

I remain really curious about these and some competitors but also glad I've delayed any purchase decisions.
