I owned an '82 toyota pickup for many years, but unfortunately the single cab was just too small when we started having kids. Selling that trusty truck nearly broke my heart!

Fast forward 2 decades, and I need a work truck. I've been looking for a while. I finally found a local young guy selling his 2002 Tacoma 4x4. He's done a lot of work on it, 6" lift, cherry bomb exhaust, k&n intake, sound system, etc. He gave me a decent price, the engine is strong and clean, transmission seems good, trans fluid nice and clean. It has a few issues here and there (needs a center bearing on the driveshaft, power steering pump), but overall, it seems to be pretty good.

There's a vibration once you get going, but I can't tell if that due to the center bearing going out or the driveshaft angles, or both.

Anyway, happy to be here, and I love this forum!

yeah, it's pretty tough. I can give it a work out here in the mountains, for sure.

    I'm real happy about it.
