    nice theory, but i don't think it works that way... mods are mods, regardless of if one raids autozone or a brands parts counter. honestly, i'd be more nervous around a dealership-modded vehicle. typically many dealer mods are installed by the same guys that do oil changes because those guys are most disposable for doing ancillary work. those same guys that generally had to list prior experience as "7-11, night shift cashier".

    I am referring to mods like OEM Pro grills or OEM led headlight upgrades Pro shocks etc. If I do such mods or upgrades I would do them myself never would I let the oil change techs do it lol. Usually when I do decide to sell one of my vehicles people are lined up to get it and it brings a premium price.

    I had a 1965 Mustang.
    Took the horse piece out of the grill because I thought it looked "cooler".
    Traded it in for a Corolla and didn't put horse back in.
    Lost the horse over the years.
    Regret selling the Mustang and losing the "horse" to this day.
