My recent purchase.

 

Would be interesting to add to this what it is worth now.

Paid MSRP + 1800 for a ceramic coat that the dealer overcharged for on all vehicles on the lot but I did it because the end of 23 was near and was getting hard to find DCOR-P. Supply was tight and they were all sold weeks before hitting the lot. 040 was selling for same price as other colors with LED headlights/fogs. Slightly used shell for half off on CL mentally made up for the 1800 ceramic coat.

Has been a space ship into the future with no problems/regerts.

Side note... New Wrangler Territory ATs mounted on 02/06/2025 so that was nice

 

Well my 2022 2WD Limited in 9/22 out the door including sales ($2980) tax was $$46800. Yeah I know it’s a 2022. But my point is just look at the GM and Fords pricing at $70,000 to $80,000 or more !!! Many of those trucks are grenading left and right with bent valve rods, piston rods, trannys failing etc. I think I made a good choice in getting a Taco.

 

Bought my 2023 TRD Off-road in Lunar Rock used with 37,000 miles in it on 3/14/25. Sticker was $37,500, got it down to $36k and traded in my 2019 Tundra with 97,500 miles on it. They gave $26k for that so ended up paying $10k for 60,000 less miles and 4 years newer.

 

My 2022 Tacoma SR double cab 2wd base model 2.7 liter engine had a sticker price of about $31,500 brand new including all the dealer options. Out the door including tax, license and dealer markup, it cost about $37,500.

 

I picked up my 2023 on Halloween of this year , cant remember what I paid for it but I do know its paid off !!
