Today I opened up my shed and noticed this on the front end. Very strange to see that since I bought it new and it's been garage parked everyday.

The only thing I can come up with is the heat since it has gotten really hot lately. And I doubt that even. No car washes, never hit anything driving, garage parked with cameras and there are no scratches around it whatsoever. I need to take it apart and see what I can find out but that will be later this week. Luckily I don't have to go anywhere in the next couple of days.

Anybody else ever had something like this happen?? I'm scratching my head. Thanks

You say garage parked and also opened shed. The "shed" likely is not pristine clean and there is probably dust and even dirt inside. That combined with heat changes, day, night, condensation and even frost, will leave that type of stuff. Don't know why you need to take anything apart. Just wash it. Is this your first vehicle ?

I think he’s talking about the bumper being popped out of place. Or at least it appears that way.

Tried to push it back into place but no-go. Need to find a video and see how it goes back. This is my 3rd Tacoma but I never had to do anything to them, they just work.

You might be right, it's a metal shed but sometimes I call it a garage.

Other than the dirty truck, I'm not sure what you're referencing.

getting info from some guys on this forum is like pulling teeth....
Think hes referring to possibly the bumper impact, look at the lower alignment around the headlight...
    lower fog, etc...

To the op, someone could have bumped into you while parked, un-attended, etc....

common, it can easily happen depending on what hit you & how slow the impact was...
tight parallel parking on the street, or backing out of a spot & just slowly bumping into you...
No witness marks, but the damage is there...

You might have made the Christmas card list. See the straight line on the bumper, I hadn't noticed it.

I'm gonna stop posting for awhile as I'm too old to read minds and guess what people are saying or trying to in their posts.

yeah, looks like you got slammed, but the gouge isnt there like in the pic I circled, maybe just a bug....

Thats why I opted for huge rock sliders, NEVER park by anyone when I hit the stores & run errands...

This sucks but it's life. I'll find a video online on how to fix it. Thanks for the help everyone and yes I'm old and take crappy photos. But this forum always helps. Appreciate it all.
