No pre runner trim, no mud flaps,no step ups,I do have the Deck plate though. Kings @ 0 and 5100's in rear. stock leafs. Total chaos UCA.
:1up::1up:As title states i traded an old Buick for a 4 x 4 access** cab from Hawaii. My friend needed a more family oriented vehicle so I received his girlfriend’s dad’s truck. There’s rust on the frame, and peeling of of the metal c frame.
And then the knobs that stick off the frame that bolt the cab down and the panels looks a bit rusted, but I drove it about 100 miles home last night with bungee cords holding the hood down It wasn’t bad but definitely had to keep it at like 55 the whole way home or less if I didn’t want to do the Indiana jones lifted hood thing . It’s a salvage rebuild but it felt great it needs all cats I believe, it didn’t even flinch at the horrible california freeway potholes I think it’s the 6” pro comp on blocks . Cool for what is the interior is nice. Wyt?

I’m thinking drill through the hood and using these Amazon race pins? For hood problem?

Hood pins? Those will be fine.

The frame looks bad, how does it look by the cats? I'm guessing worse.

IIRC, that 6" lift requires the frame crossmember to be cut for installation. A lot of work to remove it.

You are in CA so the thousands for OEM cats is going to hurt. If the Buick ran and didn't have a bad transmission you may have got the worse deal. :notsure:

    ETA:
OK, OK, I went for the joke..... I probably would trade an old Buick for that too.

The Buick was my great aunts it bucked a little and was in perfect condition didn’t pass smog cuz the cel diode was going bad we were about to trade it to carmax and my good friend needed a family car and a place for the car seat I def got the worse car I won’t deny that haha. It’s actually not too bad by the cats it’s literally just in the couple spots! Thanks for the input on the procomp I need all the info I can on it! I think it is a pain in the ass to remove the weld bracket haha. But I’m thinking maybe leave it as till it runs to the ground! Maybe getting smaller tires 285/70/17 to gain a little mpg hah

Check your driveshaft angles, a 6" lift usually causes problems. Do a search for "6" lift", there are lots of problems with these and you'll get better and more informed info than I can give.
