Can the A43D Automatic transmission handle a boosted engine?

I bought a low boost turbo kit from LCE and it'll be here in a few days. I'm trying to find information on the A43D transmission, such as its limitations. I have a '95 with the 2RZ-FE, and I put a new rebuilt transmission in there not too long ago. (Flushed cooler lines and new torque converter)

I've read a few other forum posts and, from what it seems, the A43D is identical to the AW71 (with some exceptions) and the AW71 has been used in turboed Volvos.

I saw some other forum posts that suggested the valve body upgrade from IPT, (or the accumulator mod), however there is no upgraded valve body for the A43D available on IPT's website, and I don't know how credible the accumulator mod is.

Basically, can the stock tranny handle the boost, and if not, what can I do to prolong the life under higher torque?
