Thermostat housing question

    Hey guys. So my 02 4runner ran hot the other day. All the usual suspects. Oil. Coolant. All that was good. Thermostat was bad. Had a older friend of mine that wanted to help me and replace it. Well he cracked the housing that the actual Thermostat slides into. Right where i have circled. Does anyone know the name of this part. I can't find it anywhere. Or am I even able to replace this piece or am I screwed??
