This is my second Pioneer in my 2011 Tacoma, and both had this problem eventually.

When I turn my truck on, it's become like a 50/50 chance that the stereo will work. It'll boot up, screen goes black, and zero audio. Or it'll boot like twice, turn fully on, no sound.. sometimes it works fine, other starts I got nothing.

Any advice? Maybe it's time for another brand.

Check you're running the newest available firmware and Bluetooth firmware on pioneers site

There is one I could flash, I'm assuming that resets everything too?

Might be worth a try, but then again, this isn't the first pioneer with this problem

    It probably resets everything.

But as always, The choice is usually to either do nothing, do something with what you have, or get something different.

Yup. Probably time to replace this thing.
