You pay checkout to diagnose the concern, if they determine its a warranty issue, you pay nothing.

How much different should the steering feel if I jack the front wheels up off the ground

There wouldn't be any resistance if the wheels are off the ground.

How many fingers does it take you to cut your wheel lock to lock with it running and in park on pavement

I can do it with my first two big fingers but it hurts pretty bad to try to do it with just one and I definitely can't do it with my pinky finger

If I'm looking for bent stuff from hitting potholes or curbs or something that would cause stiff steering, what should I be looking for

Also she's pulling pretty hard to the right on the highway so I wonder if it could be in alignment issue that's causing stiff steering

Are you reaching for buttons and knobs while it's pulling to the right?

its a Florida truck and around lots of salt water boat ramps and she pretty crusty under there. I'm wondering if something is bent from potholes or just crusty causing the stiff steering and pulling to the right...
