Led lights are being added to interior, more mods to come
I was scrolling on marketplace and found a jereco bed cap for $450 which really isn't too bad of a deal. As much as I like the utilitarian use of the roof rack I would like to get a matching cap to make everything look cleaner. The gold cap is also in much better condition then mine. Any opinions are appreciated. :cool:Screenshot_20250410_123942_Reddit.jpg Screenshot_20250410_123946_Reddit.jpgScreenshot_20250410_123956_Reddit.jpg

Sell the black cap, doesn’t fit well and don’t seem to be for the Tacoma.

Mostly cosmetic but she ain’t stock(looking) anymore.
The color match topper looks cleaner and seems like it would be a better fit imo. Go for it! I took mine off to lighten up my truck but I did like how it looked.F89DAA40-61E0-48F7-B88C-CCD8AE970917.jpg

It’s cheap, it fits right, it’s the right color, and it’s tall so it’s easier to get in there.

Any differences in the rear of the cab angle between single cabs and access cabs with the first gens? 2nd gens are different, and that might be why your current cap looks to sit too far back. Might be an issue with the other cap too

Yea, the cab profile is different on first gens, too.

I’m running an access cab topper on my single cab and it works okay but has to be pushed back slightly so the topper doesn’t contact the top of the cab.

Looks like this might be the case for the OPs current topper as well

looks like the gold one is made for a single cab. It's fate -- get on it.

Gold for sure. You'll appreciate it every time you look at the truck. Plus, get it before ppl start raising prices on everything used due to tariffs
