I am about to add a CBI Covert front number and Warn EVO 10 to my G3. Does anyone have an opinion mainly about the bumper selection? I want a compact and covert style bumper up front. I did see that one installer had an issue with rope/fairlead interference.

Are you or have you done any suspension modifications?

I run a greenlane offroad stump bumper with a smitty x20 winch. Lots good pulls with it over the years now and it's held up perfect.

People rip on aluminum all the time but really i bet you'll rip the studs off the frame horn before this thing breaks.

If you ever do manage to rip the bumper off, Overland Outfitters make reinforcement plates to replace the oem studs that all bumpers use.

I have a CBI Covert...no issues whatsoever after a few recoveries (not for me). It also comes with the frame reinforcement brackets...
